From the Archive: Monday 1 June 2009: As promised street theatre group the Government of the Dead returned to parliament, this time with handcuffs to arrest the "criminals" involved in the never-ending story of MP's expense claims.
Former East London University professor Chris Knight read out a long fraud list, naming the claimants and the ridiculous expenses MP's expected the UK taxpayer to pay back, including "protecting shrubs from bunny rabbits", "moat cleaning" and a "rocking chair".
The small group of protestors then made several attempts to arrest those MPs they considered "benefit fraudsters" but were halted, in true irony, by the police.
