This work focuses on oral history research in a particular area of north-west Namibia. With Welhemina Suro Ganuses, Councillor for the Namidaman Traditional Authority, we worked mostly with families in a settlement called Sesfontein. They have formed a cultural group called the Hoanib Cultural Group, after the main ephemeral river that flows through the area in which they now live.
