Lionel Sims is retired head of Anthropology, International Politics, International Development and Refugee Studies at the University of East London and retired Vice President of the European Society for Astronomy in Culture. For the last thirty years I have been conducting research into prehistoric monuments such as Stonehenge and Avebury, prehistoric Basque culture and European myth and folklore. I have published many papers on these topics, some of which can be found at www.academia.edu/Sims. Currently I am researching and writing the final chapters of a book titled ‘Stonehenge and Avebury: manipulation, deception and power’.
